BlkWomenHustle® was founded in 2018 by the Networking Maven® and Marketing Strategist Lashawn Dreher.
Growing to a community of 10,000+ in 3 months, the digital platform propelled and captured the hearts and minds of the world’s most business-savvy Black Women entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives.
Today, BlkWomenHustle® is the all-in-1 networking platform positioning a collective 100,000+ Black Women to secure the knowledge, community engagement, funding, and skills to elevate their businesses and careers. We provide the resources, support, and space to market their businesses and courses, attend value-packed events, and personally connect with influential industry-leaders.
We’ve had the honor of curating life-changing, virtual and live virtual experiences with hundreds of women across the states for our signature events. Special guests have included Arian Simone of the Fearless Fund, Claire Sulmers of Fashion Bomb Daily, and Bea Dixon of The Honey Pot Co.
Through our past events, attendees learned countless business gems, including how to pitch for funding and sponsorships, manage entrepreneurial taxes, and generate profitable social media campaigns.
In 2019, The BlkWomenHustle Podcast launched, offering a new space to recognize women within the platform and public figures who share their knowledge and journeys with audiences worldwide. Guests of the show have included fashion influencer Claire Sulmers of Fashion Bomb Daily, actress and comedienne Kim Coles, and Rochelle Graham-Campbell of Alikay Naturals. The platform continued its media expansion with the launch of EMOIR Magazine, the digital publication celebrating the ventures and success of enterprisng Black Women.
Through the BlkWomenHustle Collective, the consulting and educational sector of our platform, women learn new skills, strategies, and techniques from industry-leading experts at an economic investment.
The BlkWomenHustle App launched in 2023 as the real-time networking app designed to build social capital, strengthen economic empowerment, and catapult careers and entrepreneurial pursuits.
It is our goal to continuously provide a trusted network where Black Women are supported and recognized no matter the size of their platforms or stage of their professional journeys.
